South of I-94, and in the southwest corner of the ‘Lake Country’ we find Golden Lake. This lake preserves the classic tradition of lake life.  A small beach, publicly accessible (for a fee), along the south shore is packed each summer with laughing children trying to escape the summer heat. Preserve areas along the north and west shores insure the seclusion and north woods atmosphere of this lake. Good fishing and quiet nights await the residents all year round.
